And, ruadh, there’s no need to eat the food. Just go to a Chinese shop and buy the dry beans. If you have room (even a balcony), you could even save a few and grow your own.
Well they could import them directly themselves (like my Spanish restaurant does with Licor 43, for example). In any case, I didn’t say “impossible”, just “damn hard”, which basically means “I can’t buy them at Tesco’s”.
