So they say they have him 100% now. I wonder how long it will be before the little five year old girl that described Avila to the cops will realize how awsome she is. She did a pretty awsome job for a toddler.
Maybe down the road when she fully grasps what happened to her friend she will feel a little better knowing that she help find the POS that did it. I hope so.
She deserves some sort of recognition for her outstanding job with this situation.
I’d think that it’s probably best that she is kept from having to deal with any more media, public spectacle or intrusion into her life. She witnessed a truly heinous event, and while she’s done a yeoman’s job in helping bring this villain to justice, she’s going to need time and probably the assistance of a good counsellor to help her deal with the trauma she’s endured. A lot of hoohah and continued disruption of her little life are probably the last thing that she needs.
I could be wrong, but if Stephanie were my daughter I would be keeping her as far under wraps as I could from here on out.
Well, I certainly hope it’s the right guy, and it sure sounds like it’s the right guy, but let’s wait until after the trial before we start celebrating.
there is the carnegie award. i’m sure she qualifies.
she should be shielded from a lot of the publicity. i’m hoping she will not have to testify at the trial.
she and the artist did a great job on the sketch. when she has trouble sleeping from this her parents will be able to comfort her with the fact that she helped samantha, she did all the right things, and that he is in jail now.
Hunter I’m glad I’m not the only one who read it like that and opened the thread just to see what in the heck was going on in here.
Thought maybe with all the crap going on with children lately that maybe Stinkpalm had finally snapped and am surprised that a few of us haven’t already.
With Samantha and the two in the car and now one in a fire place I don’t click on the links anymore but read everyones posts.
They make me cry.
I have five living children.
One was hit by a car two years ago, and one deals with a blood disorder that threatens to take him at a whim.
I’ve miscarried twins and lost a child to genetic problems.
I know people who cannot concieve and openly grieve for these children whose parents are a waste of DNA.
I hope Stephanie grows to realise what a wonderful thing she has done. And how many other children including herself that she helped to put out of danger since they thought that there could be many more children.
Hopefully they got the right man and this has all come to an end.
What a little hero!
