Processor, memory, video card, hard drive, cooling, power supply, and case. Bling bling with cold cathodes, or a Compaq from Best Buy?
Hey, it’s a big improvement for ME, but I’m sure it will not come up to the desired specs of the average Doper.
It’s a PIII with 128mg’s RAM plus 20g Hd…and it’s got a very wonderful 56K modem (unlike the old 28 one I’ve been living with for the last 6 yrs).
And it’s got a DVD CD drive (but alas, no CDRW), and the most magnificent speakers I have heard for yonks.
To cut a long story short, it is like Christmas…and I got the whole package for under $500 AUD on Ebay…so I reckon I got a pretty good deal!!
And NO, the board is not faster, but everything else on the net is!!
