Whoa! This is cool. I’m going through “the boxes under the stairs” [sub]aren’t Langoliers under there or something?[/sub] looking for empties to start packing up. So, I open 'em up to see what’s inside, and yea verily something immediately grabs my attention. . .
I came across one of the relics of my youth. The original Nintendo Game Boy, with it’s “dot matrix with stero sound”, black and white, 4 AA batteries, in it’s original mid 90s coolness.
And I’ve got games too! Chessmaster 2000, Star Trek, Baseball, Tennis, Golf, Chase H.Q., and Dr. Mario. Oh this is too cool. And the damn thing still works too!

I guess y’all know what I’ll be doing tonight.
I don’t have the original GameBoy anymore, but I have Dr. Mario and Tetris (the original). Both are compatible with Game Boy Advance. Ooooh, I love it!
I have my Gameboy still. The only game I still have for it is Tetris, I think, although I used to have the Mario game. I would love to have the Kirby game. I heart Kirby.
Got great millage out of Final Fantasy Adventures I&II, Wario, Castlevania and Zelda.
Ha, my father pinched mine. He’s been hooked on Tetris for a while, and was introduced to Pokemon as a birthday present from Mum. Treated himself to a GBA last year. Oh, and he’s almost 60 now…
And he used to scold me as a kid for playing games too!
I forgot about my original gameboy for quite a while. Then I found it, along with the original “Mario World”, and promptly beat the game in about 15 minutes
I still have my Game Gear. I think the only game I have though is the original Mortal Kombat. We also threw away our Sega Genesis about three months back. It’s hard to think that my life was once dominated by these things.
I got my Game Boy when I was nine years old. I still have it, and it’s still in perfect working condition, as are the twenty or so games in my collection. My favorites are the Final Fantasy series and the Legend of Zelda game. The last game I bought for the Game Boy was Donkey Kong Country. I always had trouble seeing the graphics on that one; the only way I’ve ever been able to play it was with the Super Game Boy (the thing that allowed you to use Game Boy cartridges in the Super Nintendo).
