My understanding is that the procedure was legal in Pennsylvania at the time, and so that’s where my mother went. I don’t know if the doctors traveled also, or if they had a clinic there. Interestingly, when my sister tried to do some research on who our biological fathers might be, she contacted the Jones Foundation, and the President contacted Dr. Howard Jones himself, who was still going strong at 103!
