Don’t know if it would have worked on the furby from hell, but when you start getting multiplying or reproducing web windows and consoles just keep hitting the ESC key. In Netscape, at least, it’s the shortcut for the Stop command. If the web page didn’t load the script in time, you cut it off at the pass and then you can simply close the window.
