I just had a square birthday

That’s why I have a browser extension that only lets looping animated images run once and then forces them to stop. Very handy. Once in awhile I need to disable it to watch some animation on wiki that takes a few iterations to understand. But otherwise, once-only is my default setting.

For Chrome or Edge:

Well dang, I turned 45 back in March, but I didn’t realize there was anything special about that, mathematically speaking.

I recently turned 36. Not for the first time; I’ve been doing this for square number of years. Today, I did have a very merry unbirthday, which seems as good a reason to eat cake as any.

I was born in 1969, which means I can legitimately put 69 in my passwords without it being for juvenile reasons.

Was about to say: you’re younger than me? I thought I knew all the younger dopers.

This is the only place online I feel remotely young. Everywhere else, everyone assumes I’m 10 years younger than I am, and still thinks of me as one of the more mature older ones.

And I don’t know how in the world I missed that Matt Parker video! Love that guy.
