I just lost most of my wardrobe...

to Goodwill!

Nearly 75 percent of my clothes are too big on me, due to all the weight I’ve lost over the past few months. I’ve gone from a snug size 20, to a fit size 16. 30 freakin pounds! So, I cleared out my closet, and started trying things on, and am now left with maybe 2 pairs of pants I can wear, and a couple of shirts.

I may have no clothes, but damn does it feel good!

Doesn’t that feel good?

I went from a size 20 to a 10 in a year (76 pounds) and it was amazing to be able to buy clothes that weren’t elasticized or mumus!

Congratulations!!!

Congrats on the weight loss. Good on you. I hope your budget permits a splurge on a few nice new things.

Can you wear a Men’s size small or medium?

It’s cheezy, but warm & durable. And $7.97, less S&H.

Yeah, I did the happy wardrobe pruning dance several months ago while, of all things, watching The Maltese Falcon for the first time. I have no idea what triggered me to start trying on every article of outerwear I own, maybe Sidney Greenstreet? I ditched at least 1/2 of everything, maybe 2/3, and bagged it up for a friend who works near a drop-off center to, um, drop off. It was such fun! I’ve had a couple of mini-dances since then to clear out the rest of the big boy clothes as I’ve bought replacements in my new smaller sizes.
