I just met a woman who wasn't wearing makeup.

You’re my new hero.

Yep yep yep.

I have the kind of face that goes up three points on the ten point scale with makeup. (Or I did when I was young, it makes less of a difference now). But I almost never wore it. Then, when I did, the reaction was: Wow! You look spectacular!

I have observed that among women who wear it most of the time, the reaction when they do not is: “Damn, what happened? Are you sick?”

Rather occasionally bump up what I naturally am than feel like I have to wear it to look normal.

OK, that was me, whooshed by the zombie.

Where’s my sign!? :smack:

I was reading through the whole time going “didn’t you just find some hot girl in a hiking group to stalk? WTF?”

hate stealth zombies.

Deanc, you are probably never going to get her “plainness” out of your head, even if she does start wearing makeup. You’ll only think to yourself “Wow, she’s not so plain with all that makeup on.”

I know that this is a zombie, but I just gotta say, if a woman has reached the age of 30 and doesn’t wear makeup, it’s probably NOT because her parents won’t let her. She might be allergic to makeup, it might melt off her face in 30 minutes or less, she might not want to spend the money on it*, or she might just feel that she looks good enough with a nekkid face.

*I bought one of those starter makeup kits for one of my nieces, and I was amazed at the price!

Stoid, I think most women would say they need it more now than when they were young. I guess you’re getting more naturally beautiful as you age!

if not wearing makeup puts 10 years on her face them i would suggest a face lift.

zombies can be improved by plastic surgery too.

And the great thing about operating on zombies is that actual plastic works just fine.

Given that we’ve already seen a reference to deanc2000’s current thread about the hiking club, and some of the posts made over there, I’m going to close this. I’m doing this for three main reasons:

First, the OP of this thread could be perceived as vaguely trollish, due to the suggestion that many or most women are not attractive unless they use makeup. Deanc2000, I am not mod-noting you or sanctioning you in any way for that, because I’m sure you didn’t have any such intention. (Moreover, it was two years ago.) But we all know that such OPs can bring a pile-on.

Secondly, we don’t need to have two concurrent threads that are basically about deanc’s perspective on relationships with women. I’m making this call based on the fact that the other thread was trending in that direction.

Thirdly, it is after all a zombie thread, started to describe an event in someone’s personal life over two years ago.
