Today was my las day, and I am the envy of my co-workers. The plant is closing down (the end of an era – the company was over 150 years old), I was on reduced hours and reduced pay, and often had to pitch in on random jobs just to help get the product out the door. But I go on to a better life. With luck, one where I can access the SDMB.
Good luck! I’ll probably joining the ranks of the unemployed in a week; my contract’s up December 30th and I haven’t heard from my contracting company about them finding me a new one, so…

You will get a job easy enough, but SDMB access should be the main priority. Dont just accept any old high paying position.

Actually, i was just hired for seasonal help anyhow, so i didn’t really “quit”. Either way it’s a lil bit of a relief (I worked overnights 10pm to 7am at toys r us).
