I just realized who Star Trek's Tranya Boy is

He was also a mission controller in Apollo 13.

He was also a dancer on Solid Gold

I think we ought to patent a recipe for Tranya.

Oh yeah, Clint also played one of the Ferengi in the Enterprise first season episode “Acquisition.”

He didn’t even need the prosthetic teeth for the Ferengi costume.

I’ve had people try to tell me Tranya Boy was played by Kurt Russell. I mean, come on.

It’s pink grapefruit juice. I saw an interview once with Clint; he said he couldn’t stand the taste, and asked them if they could use something else. They said yes, but didn’t change it; that’s why he’s making a funny face in the scene when he drinks it.

Okay, what can we mix with pink grapefruit juice that people would actually order at a bar…? Maybe some Schnapps?

Greyhounds are vodka and grapefruit juice.

Personally, I’d rather drink the grapefruit juice than the isopropyl that they try to pass off as ethanol. God, I hate vodka.

Put some salt on the rim of the rocks glass and you’ve got a Salty Dog. Ummmm good. The only mixed drink of which I’ll partake.

You can get Tranya, along with Romulan ale, bloodwine, and other exotic Trek drinks at Quark’s bar.

The one in Vegas at the Hilton.

And he was in an episode of the Buffy spinoff Angel, playing an old man who can swap bodies. He swapped bodies with Angel for a while.

I thought he died in Viet Nam!

“Lets get them meek bastards NOW!

I think CH is one of very few actors to have appeared in all TV incarnations of Star Trek.

He was also in Cotton Candy, directed by RH. He played the manager of the band.

Ah yes, I’ve been on the Experience, bought some stuff in the Emporium but astoundingly I did not partake of any food or drinks there, though I did rub noses with a Ferengi staff member.

Thanks for the travel tip!

Aes: I’m with you on the wodka. The creamsicle martini is a most ghastly drink.

I find it mildly amusing that the older Ron gets the more he looks like Clint

And now for a REALLY awful drink: Gentlebeings, I give you

the Nicotini.

I’d rather have this amusing wine instead.

Rance Howard was the chaplain who married Steve Hiller(Will Smith) and Jasmine(Vivica Fox) in Independence Day.

Nicotini? Christ… people have some serious problems when they have to put nicotine in their food and drink. Gah.
