I just saw "Friday" licensed for an ad

Now I want to crawl into a ball and cry.

Too mild for the pit, so I put this here.

The actual day of the week?

The movie starring Chris Tucker and Ice Cube?

Robinson Crusoe’s right-hand-man?

Or do you mean this?

If you’d paid attention to the ad all the way through, you would have noticed it was an ad for Gallaudet.

I don’t know why so many people freak out about this song. This song is far worse, and it wasn’t released by someone with no experience on a lark.

Nicely played.

Yeah, I did a double-take when that chick pulled a car insurance contract and a pen out of her navel.

(dang, Larry Mudd beat me to it. And better than I was going to)

Good. Maybe she’ll make enough off of that song through licensing that she won’t feel she has to continue her “career”.

Here’s the ad that (I think) this thread is about:

Since Rebecca Black didn’t write the song, it’s still not clear who is going to be getting any royalties from its use.

I’m licensing Saturday night.

Or maybe Sunday.
