I just watched the very last episode of Futurama

I loved the Hypnotoad sound effect. What a weird noise.

OK, so the show had a more-or-less “happy” ending with Fry and Leela walking off into the imaginary sunset hand-in-hand. What about Bender’s crotch plate, though? Will he never again be able to tell somebody to kiss his shiny metal ass? Oh, the robotity, the robotity…

Barry

Futurama? Funny show. When does it come on again? What? Shit.

It was “bite,” and he said it so often… oh, the irony. Wait, no. The Not-irony. (That irony gag was GREAT.)

Dang, I missed it! Fortunately I spent the last two days watching the new boxed set (some store in NY was selling it before the release date).

“It’s too grumpy!”

Great line! I love Bender.

RIP Futurama. We will miss you…

During the recital, when the grumpy snail turned around and glared at Fry for missing a note I thought I was going to wet my pants.

At least Futurama returned to Adult Swim last night - with one of my favorite episodes “Deep South.”

Don’t worry - I’m sure Scruffy the Janitor fished it out for him.

“Who are you?”
“Scruffy, the janitor.”
“I’ve never seen you before.”
“I’ve never seen you before neither.”

“Could it be? Are the legends true? It is! It’s the lost city… of Atlanta!”
“Howdy y’all!”

Sweet Zombie Jesus!

There’s an interesting thread about that line, actually. CN edited out “Jesus,” and I think TBS snipped the whole line.

I wish I had a hypnotoad. Sigh.

Goodbye and thanks, Futurama.

Robo-titty? What are you, one of them “robosexuals”?

Man, I did not at all believe you, but I just put in the video and Holy #*$! you’re right! That’s cool.

I’m still watching that episode right now. They just showed Blinky, the 3-eyed fish from The Simpsons.

I’m really going to miss Futurama.

And with that song at the end of Fry’s dog episode. I can’t remember what song it was, but it added so much more. I got a little teary at the end of that episode.

Very cool indeed. I wondered about that. I always like a pre-planned series, as opposed to, say, Alias or the Wheel of Time.

I have to admit that although I liked Futurama from the start, I just didn’t get into it in the 7pm time slot. However, when it starting appearing on Comedy Central, I couldn’t get enough of it. I blame Fox. Isn’t that ironic?

I never knew that animation could touch me so much. Stupid brother episode. Kept expected some silly, laughable ending, but no. I liked it so much.

Like others, I really enjoyed the last episode. It was the perfect one to end on.

BTW, where’s “space earth”? And what’s “MHOP”?

So many good quotes, so little time. My favorite one: “So musicians really roger your hammerstien, huh?” By Bender, of course.

Oh, and the teacher’s sign says “Holophonor Teacher - Taking the joy out of music for 20 years”.

Just finished watching my tape (been real busy).

How great was it to hear Katey Sagal sing?? Could have done a lot more.

This is the second show that she’s been in that they put on at 7:00 on Sundays to kill it off. Good thing she’s got 8 RULES going.*

Goodbye, FUTURAMA, soar on among the stars.

*not that I think Katey will ever have money problems in this lifetime…

Just a guess, but perhaps it’s the Martian House of Pancakes?

Good News everyone… Fox has terrible news.

Me, I’ll miss the Zapper. Oh yes and Kiff. My favorite moment was early in season 2 when Zap is running out on the crew as he hurls teh planet express ship against those Damned Neutrals (What makes a man become neutral any way?). He Stuffs Kiff into the childrens space suit. One of Kiffs more memorable humiliations.

Damn this show never deserved the ill treatment it recieved. It was clever from the start, and unlike The Simpsons, the first season is still hilarious and watchable. Can’t wait 'till season three comes on DVD… My yes.

The name of the Opera House. Might be “Municipal House of Opera.”
