Hello. I would like some help with English to Lao translations-I have some terms I’d like translated to Lao. Are there any Lao speakers here? Please let me know-I would appreciate your help.

I’m in NY-but why a temple?
Thai is very close to Lao. In fact, there are more ethnic Lao in northeastern Thailand than there are in Laos. I imagine the temple suggestion was made because it will be a gathering point for ethnic Lao in the area. But you may want to check the Thai temples, too, as many Thais will know Lao.
Check out the staff in Thai restaurants, too, but don’t be surprised if in many cases they’re Chinese, Vietnamese etc and don’t know any Lao OR Thai.
