Ok, I like two of there songs, *GOLD * and TRUE , but for a guy my age is this normal? True is an excellent tune I like the, how do I describe it? it goes ’ Dum-di-dum–di’
Who else likes Spandau Ballet?
Let me tell you the one cool thing about Spandau Ballet:
The guitarist/keyboardist Gary Kemp played Oliver in Killing Zoe … “So Eric tells me you like Viking films. Viking movies. I love that stuff. Those helmets with the fucking horns on!”
Other than that (and the fact that “Gold” is featured on the Vice City soundtrack), yeah, you’re a little strange.
…and Gary and Martin stared in the movie “The Krays”. (A most excellent movie. )
But as for normal? That’s for you do deside.
Liking is OK. Admitting to liking is, well, a bit odd.

I suppose it’s somewhat normal. I like to listen to the musical influences in a wide variety of artists, which leads to the listening of songs from my most impressionable period of life (1980-1983) that not many other people see merit in.
I like them; kind of a strange name for a band though…
I think their lead singer has one of the coolest, most manly voices of the last 30 years. Clear, deep, strong, distinctive. I’d love to have that voice.
IMO, the true test of a man’s character is to be secure enough in himself to proudly announce his personal preferences without worrying about whether it harms his precious maculinity. As for myself, I like Spandau Ballet. Screw whether it’s cool or normal or whatever. Then again, I’m a child of the 80s…
I liked “True” very much. That’s the only thing I’ve ever heard by Spandau Ballet, tho’.
