This is a very expensive bed. I held off buying one for many years. Then a friend of mine bought one. I waited another year to see if he and his wife still liked it. They did. When I heard that this bed was going to rise in price next month; I took the plunge and bought one.

I secretly have always wanted a Craft Matic Adjustable Bed. Then I could tell my husband to go blow himself and watch him be able to do so at the press of a button! Hell, I’d make my own job obselete.
Mr. Athena and I must be the only two people in the world who hated our Tem… I mean, Semper Deetik mattress. Got the thing, laid down on it. Looked at each other and said “Um, is this concrete we’re laying on?” Figured we should sleep on it for a few weeks. 3 weeks later, still hate it. Thank God for money back guarantees!
I wanted to try the Semper Deetik bed, but I thought the price was outrageous. I heartily recommend a “topper” of the same material over a good mattress.
You’ll need deeper sheets, but Alonzo John Blitz nailed it - it’s like sleeping on a cloud, with perfect support. I really don’t want to leave its warm embrace. Alas, I must work every now and again, and must fetch my own sammitches.

I recently got a 3" memory foam mattress topper, and I haven’t woken up with hip pain at all since I started sleeping on it. I was considering the Semper Deetik, but was in so much pain that I needed a quick and cheap fix, and it definitely did the trick. I may buy the full-blown version when I eventually buy a new mattress.
