I love this story... so much

I know, me too. I’m also heartened to know that other ADHD people have difficulty making themselves go to the bank. Who knew that was a common trend before Allie talked about it?

Man, you don’t have to be ADHD to have a hard time getting around to that bank thing.

ME TOO! It’s nice to have graphic validation of one’s introversion.

The fish story reminds me of my grandmother. When my grandfather came home from fishing, he always brought home just the biggest fish and threw it into the already-filled bathtub. When my grandmother was getting ready to start dinner, she went into the bathroom with a bottle of schnapps, and poured some down the fish’s throat, to dull its suffering. When it was sufficiently inebriated, she took it into the kitchen and decapitated it. At least it died happy.

I had to scroll past the penultimate illustration before I could continue.

‘How Kenny Loggins ruined Christmas’ made me snort fresh, turbo fizzy Diet Pepsi up my nose and squirt it out onto my computer. I loved the story of ‘Please stop’, and I have to get me a ‘Once I Acted Like an Adult Trophy’. Those don’t come my way very often.

I actually printed out her description of what its like to be an adult with ADHD and took it to my Nurse Practitioner who is kind and caring, but doesn’t quite get it. Once she read it, the light bulb went on; like magic.

So funny I cried.

Thanks. There were a couple new ones I hadn’t seen yet. Only the dog one made me laugh, though.
