I loved iOS Dreamquest. What else should I play?

I really enjoyed (and highly recommend) the iOS game Dreamquest (here in the Apple Store)), which is a weird and quirky melding of a roguelike dungeon crawler with a deckbuilding card game (ie, Dominion). Tons of replayability, lots of interesting stuff to unlock.

But I have now defeated the Lord of Dreams (possibly the most ridiculously hard boss monster in any game I’ve ever played) twice, and I’m growing a bit bored.

What other similar iOS games might I enjoy?
thanks!

First answer and I’m going to give you something that doesn’t quite hit what you want, so sorry about that… but Monster Slayers is very much in the same vein. Unfortunately it’s only on Steam, not iOS. It’s good, though. I go back on forth on whether I like it or Dream Quest more; Monster Slayers plays more smoothly and does a few different things that probably work better overall from a game design perspective, but there is an appeal to how well DQ plays on the phone, and the “art” really grew on me.

I haven’t found anything that quite hits the mark like Dreamquest (fabulous game), but check out Guild of Dungeoneers. It’s not as good, but I got my money’s worth from it.

Reigns is a fun time waster. It’s a fantasy kingdom manager that takes its central mechanic from Tinder. You start with a deck of cards. Each card represents a request from one of your subjects. Swipe right to grant the request, left to refuse. Your response will increase or decrease one or more of four different resources - faith, population, military, and money. Deplete any of these resources, and you’re deposed and killed. Max out any of these resources, and you’re deposed and killed. Either way, your heir takes over and you keep playing. Certain choices you make can result in new cards being added to your deck, giving you access to new story branches, most of which end with you being deposed and killed.

Good god almighty, Max, what’s wrong with you? I saw this thread, downloaded this $3 game on a lark, and haven’t looked up from the screen since. It’s a menace, and I can’t believe you so nonchalantly told us about it.

Have you unlocked the professor class yet? Have you challenged the Lord of the Dream?

It won’t surprise you to learn that Blizzard hired the creator of Dreamquest to work on Hearthstone.
