Have you heard of Animusic? Not exactly Rube Goldberg, but appeals to the same sort of tastes in some people.
Animusic is cool. The video for Pipe Dream is available for download on archive.org to give you some idea of what it’s about. It’s quite cool even if it is a CGI Goldberg-type contraption.
Search on YouTube for “pitagora suicchi” - it’s a Japanese TV show that always starts with some sort of Rube Goldberg machine sequence. My boyfriend found one that was all the opening sequences in a row. In fact, I think it was this one.
