People ask me,“What do you want for Christmas?” Even I cannot think of anything fun for myself.

Just kidding, I buy lots of stuff from Amazon myself. I have some stuff coming Monday. A case for my new phone, and two 6’ USB A to C cables. Why buy a case at the local store where I might have 3 to choose from when there are at least 30 on Amazon?

I understand the OP’s shopping. Living overseas invariably means there is something you need, no matter how slight, that you won’t be able to find exactly what your want locally. And it becomes a real irritation to have to put it on the annual shopping list, but that is just how it is done.
I brought back car parts, sugar free crystal light drink mix, shoes, and CPAP parts from my last trip stateside to visit family. They meet me at the airport and I am almost hurrying through the greetings until I can get to their home and start opening packages. It’s the closest I get to Christmas.
