After complaining about how unoriginal I have been in life, I may have overcome it to some extent. I just thought I’d post this to let those who read the previous post that I’m one up.
What’d I do? I developed a series of puzzles based on the Who Wants To Be A Millionare gameshow. Unoriginal, you say? Nay, but listen:
“Yes, this is a cool idea for a puzzle!” - Dave Gates on rec.puzzles.
The actual idea is that a description of the WWTBAM question and the answers are given. The puzzle is to figure out what the actual questions and answers are based on these clues. For example, here is the $100 question (with description):
So anyway, I just thought I’d share :} If the puzzle intrigues you in anyway, I’m posting them on rec.puzzles.
Sounds like a winner. When you mentioned reverse millionaire, the first thing I thought of was “Win Ben Stein’s Money”, where the millionaire is losing money.
So great, indeed, that I promptly entered the address to go see for myself. *“I like puzzles” *I said. Well, after 2 attempts at trying to get to the site, I thought “ya know, I am not that good with puzzles, and I can’t even get to the fricking site.” With that, I stood up, intending to make my way to the, uh, facilities, tripped over the dog, whacked my shoulder against the wall, twisting my ankle in the process.
I have now come to the conclusion that puzzles are a bad, bad thing, and cause pain upon one’s person.
