Dearborn has more Muslims than.South Asia, Central Asia, the muslim majority areas of Europe (Bosnia, Albania), Africa, the Far East (Indonesia, Malaysia)?
Seriously either that place is crowded or the otherplaces are very sparsely populated.

Yes, or as if Easter Sunday came with a Thanksgiving-sized feast. The end of a long period of fasting and sober contemplation requires a big party.
Sorry, I think I meant more Middle Eastern immigrants, not more Muslims. I didn’t mean to conflate the two.
I can’t find that specific claim on Wikipedia’s Dearborn article, but I swear I read it somewhere. Anyway, I’ve got this:
“The city’s population includes 40,000 Arab Americans. Arab Americans own many shops and businesses, offering services in both English and Arabic. Per the 2000 census, Arab Americans totaled 29,181 or 29.85% of Dearborn’s population; many are from families who have been in the city since the early 20th century. The city has the largest proportion of Arab Americans in the United States. As of 2006 Dearborn has the largest Lebanese American population in the United States.”
A lot of Muslims, is what I’m saying.
I’m sure there are cities in Europe with a lot more Middle Eastern Muslims than Dearborn, and I would guess there are cities in Africa, South Asia and Southeast Asia with more Middle Eastern immigrants as well. (South America has a lot of Arabs as well but they tend to be Christian).
Dearborb’s Muslim and Middle Eastern population isn’t large except by US standards.
What’s the Hanafi evaluation about seafood? I’d heard a claim there was debate in the Hanafi school about sea food.
As I previously stated, I can’t find the original source for that claim. Obviously I’m missing something. According to that currently unknown article I read at some unspecified point in the past, Dearborn is the most something in the world. I misremember shit I read… All the time. Sorry.
