A job! But, only if the interview on Thursday goes well and they hire me, of course. It’s for a student assisting job, and it’s entry level, so it doesn’t require too much. It will probably be mostly clerical, filing, that sort of thing. The center it’s for is called “Center for Teaching, Learning, and Development”, so i think I might be working with Professors, but i’m not sure (it’s been a month since I applied for it, so I forget the details).
The way it was going with the hiring unit, seems like they aren’t in a huge hurry to get a student assistant (it is afterall still winter break). The guy who contacted me thought I wanted to do the interview on the 4th of February (he misread my email). The interview is on Thursday, by the way. Anyway, if I get the job, i wont be poor any more! Yay, shiny new things! I might also be able to move into apartments on campus.

Kick ass, Doob. I know you will get that job. You will sweep up in the interview, then watch the paychecks come rolling in.
Then when you have more money, you can get a new computer. This will enable you to chat faster!! Noone will be able to shut you up with a new better faster computer. You will then be just a few short steps away from ruling Monterey with an iron fist and a huge appetite.
Who would have thought a clerical job in the Department of Education would get you so much power?
