I got to talk a little shop with them too… they tried on a bunch of Burberry sunglasses (I know, not the brand I would have expected either) and they explained why they never did more songs along the lines of Gender (Candyass, track 8)- because Jay doesn’t really like the techno stuff and wanted to do more straight-up rock. On the other hand, Ryan and Amir (the guys I met) are doing a side project called Julien-K, which is going to be a lot more of the synth and a lot less of the guitar. I was thrilled.
They gave me picks too. I haven’t gotten picks since I saw Metallica at Donington back in '93.
