Okay, okay it wasn’t him exactly but the Aussie version thereof. He is a security guard who works with my husband on the weekends and as soon as I met him I’m like “so your Ranger” :smack: great first impression leechie.
His real name ain’t Ranger but he fits the profile to a tee. The guy is in training to join the SAS and is seriously lethal.
He still got all googly eyed over Tarquin (our new puppy) though, which proves no matter what the tough exterior he’s a big softy inside. 
And the great bit was that although I was standing right next to this super hero type I was still more attracted to leechboy

When I saw the title, I thought you’d met Willie Ames, who did the voice of Ranger on the old Dungeons & Dragons cartoon.

Same here. I just finished Hard Eight a couple of weeks ago (whenever it was released), and I think I live permanently in Stephanie’s world anyway. I’ve read all of the 1st seven books at least twice, and I’ll read 8 again sometime before 9 is released.

Sadly I have found out that he is in a long term relationship so all thoughts of fixing him up with any of my single friends must be set aside.
