I missed the series "Lois & Clark" did it have quality Superman action & effects or not?

But the main reason the series worked was that the fights against villains weren’t the primary focus. You really can’t tell an interesting story about Superman fighting someone: He wins. Tell a story about the people, though, and there’s plenty of room.

You don’t recall her making that skintight uniform with prominent red crotch for him? “Well, one thing’s for sure: nobody’s going to be looking at your face.”

I actually found a YouTube clip for that scene. I found it looking for the phrase “galactically stupid”; when I googled it Lois Lane came up by name in the Urban Dictionary entry for the term.

Again referencing the question in the OP, here is a sort of special effects reel of the show to preview.

Interestingly, when this was shown on the BBC in the UK, they dropped the “Lois and Clark” title and simply called it “the New Adventures of Superman” - they even redid the credits to reflect the name change. Presumably this was because Lewis and Clark aren’t well known over here. I remember being confused by online references to some Superman show I’d never seen, not realising that it was the same one I was watching

Or from the same scene “That’s why they call them tights.”

“Moooooom!”
