I must make a drawing, to honor and celebrate my mothers life

I just asked ChatGPT to give me a Van Gough work of him looking out the window at mountains.

It did a great job.

I want to use my mothers pastels to recreate the image. She used those pastels in college in the 50’s. We used to draw together with them when I was a kid. When she died, I found those pastels that we both drew with together. Broken, worn pastels. I kept them.

She loves the impressionists as I do. I’m going to do a drawing for her. She passed away, 2 years ago. I will do it with her 70 year old pastels.

I must.

It is MPSIMS. And I’m gonna need a lot of encouragement. I haven’t drawn for years, but at my new house, I have the room to do it.

Any artists here?

Duly, encouraged!

Don’t try too hard. It will never be perfect. But it will please you to do it.
Just to use those old pastels. Inspiring.

Wear a mask. There could be toxic properties to old pigments.

I have a brand new house that I should have room to do this. And nothing is ever perfect. If it where, we would not strive to make life better. This is why I call my house in the mountains ‘Cloud8’ not ‘Cloud9’

Yes. I need to. My Wife and my cousin want me to get back into it. I will be retiring in about 7 months or so. Not that I don’t have a lot to do.
