I need a tiny electric fan

And I do mean tiny. I’ve searched for computer cooling fans and electric ducted fans (for small r/c “jet” aircraft). The smallest I’ve found have a housing that is 1.570" (40mm) across and a blade dia. of 1.458" (37mm). I need one that has a blade dia. of no more than .900" (around 23mm). Must be able to run on batteries, either AA 1.5 volts or Ni-Cd.

Any ideas???

That sounds like a fairly specialty item to me. Your best bet would be to actually contact an electronics dealer or a manufacturer to get a list of what they carry. I think I remember Connex Electronics (http://www.connex-electronics.com/) carrying some fans in that neighborhood–you might want to give them a try. Short of that you could call up Toyo or another manufacturer, they should be able to point you in the right direction–just tell them you’re looking to buy tons of them for manufacturing so you get prompt service :wink:
