I am looking for a copy of The Adventures of Captain Kentucky by Don Rosa. It was a strip he did after The Pertwillaby Papers, using the same main character.
I have tried half.com, ebay, amazon.com, and powellsbooks.com, but have come up empty handed.
I’ve got the three issue collection of all 150 episodes (the third issue signed and numbered by Don). But I ain’t parting with them (well, maybe if offered a reasonably obscene amount… :)).
I know that it exists in that form, a single soft cover edition and a single hard cover edition, but just can’t fine them.
I’m not a Rosa fan, but searching, I see a Norweigian publisher printed a collection of his Captain Kentucly works. (For some reason, Donald Duck comics- of which Rosa is one of the major artists of- are very big in Scandinavia.)
That would be the hardcover edition. Very nicely bound, printed in English.
I own the ones you are looking for, but they have sentimental value. Would copied or scanned pages be of use to you?
Thank you for the offer, but personal ethics preclude me from accepting photocopies of material that still might be available in the marketplace.
