I NEED PICTURES! CAN YOU HELP?

Hello:

I need website addresses to sites where I can get all sorts of wild forest and landscape scenes, like woods and creeks, hot springs, hills, deserts, snow covered landscapes and western ones.

I’ve just about worn my eyes out going through the web looking for such sites – of which 95% seem all tourist oriented with tiny pictures, most of which have people in them or buildings. I need them for referencing some work I’m doing and if I have to futz around with the web browsers much longer, I think I might shoot my computer.

There HAS to be some sites loaded with pictures of the wild woods and wild lands, of the hot springs, Western Mesas, the hills of Kentucky and clear mountain springs.

You guys and gals seem to spend much time surfing the web, so I figured I’d turn to you all.

Any suggestions will be MUCH appreciated

I use this website often, looking for unusual food pictures, and they seem to have quite a library of pictures.

Also try infoseek.com
When starting your search, make sure you click for “images”

Most of the major search engines have huge picture collections. Just fine the picture link on their home page.

Not to thunder on your woods, but it is generally unacceptable to take pictures from other people’s websites without asking for permission…unless they explicitly state you can.

Just something I thought I should bring up.

So that’s what all those subpoenas were talking about. . .

There are a lot of sites that give away free graphics and such. http://www.freebiescenter.com is one of my favorites, but I never really looked for landscapes there. I hope this helps you somehow, if not now then in the future. . .
