There’s a thread in Cafe Society about songs from the point of view of animals. There’s a wonderful song I’d like to submit, but I want it to be on YouTube so that folks can actually listen to it if they want (without having to go to the trouble of downloading an mp3). I don’t have enough pictures of my own cats to stretch through an entire song, so rather than scouring the web for random pictures of cats, I thought I’d ask you for some.
Here are the lyrics. If you have a picture that would go particularly well with some specific thing, please let me know! Otherwise general pictures will do. I’ll try to identify all the cats/Dopers so be sure to include the cat’s names. If you want to hear the song beforehand, it’s on this page. Scroll in the player to “Terra Incognita.” (that opening is a reference to a cat toy with sparkly things inside that her cat adored)

The older gray cat in the first picture is Violet. The guys are my nephews Tycho (brown nose) and Spica (white nose). They are about 3 years old now. Lots more pix where these came from.
Thanks for the links, I have some Happy Rhodes cassettes but I rarely play them because cassettes are a hassle. Lots of stuff there I haven’t heard.
Thanks to everyone, keep them coming! I’ve downloaded all the pictures linked so far in this thread (well, I’m still working on Nicest of the Damned’s nieces and nephews). I’m going to try and use as many as I can. I’m still thinking about how I will identify everyone, but I’m saving them like this to make sure I know who’s who.
