I Need Some Help Researching the Democratic Candidates

I hope this is the right forum for this. Wouldn’t be surprised if it broke out into a debate, but right now I’m just looking for pointers.

I have a weekly column in NU’s paper, and this week I’m going to be giving my take on the Democratic candidates. I’m not doing an endorsement, because I’m not sure who my guy is right now anyway. The column will basically say “figure out your priorities and choose who you like from there,” going to say (by way of example) “if you want the candidate who unquestionably opposed the war, go with Dean, and here’s why;” “if you want the guy with the best national security credentials, try Clark or Kerry, and here’s why,” etc.

So I’m going through the websites of the candidates - I think I’ll confine myself to the four I think are most likely to get the nomination (Clark, Dean, Edwards, and Kerry) - and that helps, but rhetoric isn’t enough. I also need to compare their track records on the issues, excepting Clark who basically has none. Can anyone recommend sites that will help me do this? Where can I compare their records on the environment, abortion, the economy, and so on?

Thanks for your help!
