I need some help with this rant...

I read the story below and found myself unable to put together words that expressed my feelings.

Designer Says WTC Symbolized Capitalist Arrogance
BERLIN (Reuters) - Germany’s leading fashion designer said in an interview published Monday he did not regret the collapse of the World Trade Center because its towers symbolized capitalist arrogance.

``The 11th of September set a learning process into motion. In that, the twin towers, a symbol of capitalist arrogance, have fallen,’’ Wolfgang Joop told the popular Bild daily.

He made the remark when asked to confirm an earlier interview in which he had said he did not regret the fall of the World Trade Center, destroyed on Sept. 11 by planes flown by suicide hijackers.

Joop, whose mansion is one of the flashier homes on the posh waterfront in Potsdam, also criticized Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder’s declaration of unlimited solidarity with the United States following the attacks.

I mean, sure, the word “hypocrite” has to be a part of the rant. But beyond that I found myself flailing around with over-used terms like “goat felcher” and it just seemed so trite. Joop needs a custom phrase.

Isn’t it enough that our OWN bleeding heart liberals in this country are saying that “we brought this tragedy on ourselves” or “maybe we deserved what we got” due to our foreign policies, etc. etc.

Now we have to listen to muddleheaded Europeans spouting this same line of garbage? These self same people are now advocating the negotiation of peace?

Here is how to handle this brand of ignorance:

With all of this talk of impending war, many of us will encounter “Peace Activists” who will try to convince us that we must refrain from retaliating against the ones who terrorized us all on September 11, 2001.
These activists may be alone or in a gathering. Most of us do not know how to react to them. When you come upon one of these people, or one of their rallies, here are the proper rules of etiquette:

1. Listen politely while this person explains their views. Strike up a conversation if necessary and look very interested in their ideas. They will tell you how revenge is immoral, and that by attacking the people who did this to us; we will only bring on more violence. They will probably use many arguments, ranging from political to religious to humanitarian.

2. In the middle of their remarks, without any warning, punch them in the nose.

3. When the person gets up off the ground, they will be very angry and they may try to hit you so be careful.

4. Very quickly and calmly remind the person that violence only brings about more violence and remind them of their stand on this matter. Tell them if they are committed to a nonviolent approach to undeserved attacks, they will turn the other cheek and negotiate a solution. Tell them they must lead by example if they really believe what they are saying.

5. Most of them will think for a moment and then agree that you are correct.

6. As soon as they do that, hit them again. Only this time hit them much harder. square in the nose.

7. Repeat steps 2 - 5 until the desired results are obtained and the idiot realizes how stupid of an argument he/she is making.

There is no difference in an individual attacking an unsuspecting victim or a group of terrorists attacking a nation of people. It is unacceptable and must be dealt with, perhaps at a high cost. We owe our military a huge debt for what they are about to do for our children and us. We must support them and our leaders at times like these. We have no choice. We either strike back, VERY HARD, or we will keep being hit in the nose.

I was merely suggesting that Wolfgang Joop is to fashion as masturbation is to, well, umm… uhh… how 'bout I leave it at that.

And, yes, perhpas the pony raping bit was a bit harsh, but I still do not doubt that Joop may well be a pedophile.

You may want to quantify that with some factual evidence, else you’re committing the rather unfortunate crime of slander. And I doubt the Reader would want to be party to that.

slander is a tricky subject. I somehow doubt that one could claim that comments made on this board caused significant financial loss on behalf of Joop, since his moronic comments alone would be enough to cause people to stop buying his so-called fashion.
