Fuck off. One dead now.
I have heard a whole commercial building* get obliterated by a gas leak in an urban area. The explosion itself if there are no secondaries is a sharp blast; the reverb comes from the waves resonance of the buildings lining the streets.
(*a half mile away. Initial reaction was WTF was THAT?, I had no clear sightline)
This against the rules, please insult in the Pit. Do not direct this to any poster in this forum again.
“Hoise” would be the plural.
I don’t know… in light of the seriousness of this incident I think you should consider changing it. I mean, the OP obviously meant to write “exploids”.
And they cut off the electricity to prevent further explosions, hence the lack of further posts from me, the OP. I’d’ve thought they’d’ve shut off the gas, but there you go. Also, they did set up a big electric floodlight directly over the rubble while the nearby houses were cut off, so again I’m not sure what the point was. Currently the road outside is still full of police, and there is one of those news vans with a big satellite dish on top, which I assumed only existed in American movies.
A hoise is a hoise, of coise of coise. And no one can talk to a hoise, of coise.
I thought hoise was singular for hoisery.
Agree that my levity may not be appropriate to the incident, but it’s completely in line with the tone of the thread. There’s no way to turn this into a serious discussion at this point. If you’d like to start a new thread about the actual incident, feel free.
