I now officially have the coolest keychain ever

:dubious: Why on earth were they giving away knives on an airplane?

That was my first thought, anyway… :smack:

Maybe not as cool, but I think mine’s still pretty dang cool.

Mine is radioactive.

It’s Link! That’s awesome, bouv!

I’ve got one of these hanging from the dashboard of my Jeep.

Man, mine went out of style with the kindergarten set about ten years ago. But I still think it’s cool. So nyah.

[sub]Okay, so I just never got around to getting another keychain, and all the other ones I’ve had are boring.[/sub]

Mine is a small tape measure. Turned out to be useful for this thread.

My current keyring also takes the role as the only souvenir I bought for myself on my recent vacation to Europe…

Yes, that’s right. From a trip to Europe I returned with only a Lego Darth Vader Keyring

That’s a direct link to the image on the lego shop site. If that fails, the item itself is at http://shop.lego.com/product.asp?p=3913

Hey!! You stole my cool post! That’s my keyring too.

Thankfully, I also have my Pope John Paul II medal keyring to brag about.

My keyring is a Vietnam era ring from the pin on a hand grenade. My uncle brought it back with him, and gave it to my mom who gave it to me. The one thing that gets the most comments on my keyring tho is this

I guess I’m just a practical guy. My keychain is just this attached to this.

  1. Does it actually work?
  2. Does it really weigh a whole POUND?

Just bumping this because I now have this and this.

I got them for free as part of a promotion for Dragon Quest 8. For those unfamiliar, it’s a video game series, and those are two of the classic enemies from it.

And my first two were indeed Link, from The Legend of Zelda. They are a tad blurry, but you should still be able ot tell what they are. If not, you might need glasses. Bear in mind, though, they are blown up versions of an 8-bit graphic, so it is normalyl blocky with no curved lines.

My keyring is the typical technogeek keyring with lots-o’-gadgets on it…

first off, the keyring itself is a Sabre Pepper Spray Kubaton, can be used as both a striking weapon and as a pepper spray thingy, in all honesty, i really got it so i wouldn’t lose my keys, it’s hard to lose a 4" long keyring…

attached to the keyring are 3 LED microlights;
a metal “bullet” style white LED microlight
a white LED “Photon-Clone”
and…
an Ultraviolet LED microlight (primarily for the gadget factor, but also to check US currency, checks and credit cards for anti-counterfitting features)

Got this one from hubby this Xmas.

My keychain has the Batsignal on it.

Ohh yeah. I can put the Batsignal on my tongue.

I hope this link works.

:dubious: A tad blurry, you say? I was able to tell what they were because I spent god knows how many hours playing that game as a wee lass, but it still took me a bit. Those pics were really freaking blurry. It looks like you either didn’t know how to or forgot to use the macro setting on your digital camera (assuming that’s what you used).

The coolest keychains are these. I think the brand name is Traser: they glow in the dark for a decade with no batteries.

Sadly you can’t import them here, so I don’t have one. :frowning:

I have one of these on my keyring. Very useful for finding my way around my property with the dog at night and blinding anyone I run into unexpectedly… not that it’s ever happened, but I’m prepared.

  1. Yes if I had the 2nd key for the payphone. (You need 2 keys to get into a payphone, the T-Key is the second one)

  2. Nope, nowhere near a pound. I didn’t notice that the first time. Must be a lot of packing peanuts with it.

I’ve got a 4.5" brass safety pin that was once used to keep diaper bags closed (from a diaper service). Had it for 30 years now (and no, my oldest kid is 28, I didn’t steal it off his diapers).
