All to often either Clothahump’s posts are an insult to his own intelligence, or are an indication of his intelligence. Either way, his “Ta-Da!” moments are “teh dum.” He suffers from intellectual incontinence, but insists on not wearing Depends, shitting up threads wherever he wanders.
The “stupid bullshit” are things you don’t agree with?
The repeal/replacement of Obamacare isn’t exactly “stupid bullshit”, it’s very much in the news and an issue plenty of people disagree with each other about. Vehemently.
You’re so vehement about it you want people who disparage it (and other things you agree with) banned.
You don’t see the irony in you’re bitching about not being able to ignore someone to the Nth degree, that nothing they say is ever seen, anywhere, and you’re argument that part of his problem is not interacting with people here?
So you’ve completely ignored posts 93-101, then.
Just beyond his capacity for understanding.
Well, and as far as the legalities of the government forcing you to purchase insurance, two points;
1> The Government forces you to purchase clothing. This power is not mentioned in the Constitution, in the Federalist Papers or in any government debate. It isn’t a power assigned to the state. It is only mentioned in law through legal consequences of NOT wearing clothing.
2> The founding fathers forced sailors to have insurance. Hell, they didn’t even give them a choice or put it in their hands. It was automatically charged to the ships when they arrived in port. This power is also not mentioned in the Constitution.
If you are alive, you are going to have health care costs. Therefore you should be insured. While it may be possible to argue that you should have the right to not have insurance and therefore to be completely ineligible for health care, I don’t think you could get anywhere near a majority vote to allow this under any party. Nor should you.
Until Republicans have an actual plan with which to replace Obamacare, repeal/replace is exactly stupid bullshit.
Ding!Ding!Ding!
They’ve been promising ‘Repeal and Replace’ for a long time and have yet to come up with an actual plan to replace it that is even marginally acceptable to their own damned base!
All true, but the real issue here is with HeweyLogan trying to pretend that this topic has something specifically to do with Obamacare, rather than Clothahump’s lengthy history of bad-faith argument.
[Moderating]
If you have an issue with the moderation of the board, start a thread in ATMB about it. Pitting the moderation staff over the actions we take (or refrain from taking) in our capacity as moderators is against the rules.
No warning issued, but I am closing the thread. You are free to continue your Clothahump-related tantrum in new thread that actually follows the board rules.
