As for the title of Doctor, God, how I hate it. I have always been uncomfortable with it. When you use the title, everyone expects that you’re an MD, and it just seems pretentious. I like being referred to as “Doc”, at best. I chose my user name on the spur of the moment without regard to how much attention it would attract. Still, for those upon whom it grates, it serves them right.
As I have said so many times before, and will undoubtedly say many times again, the truth remains the truth regardless of what one decides to believe.
