I stand by my hateful bigot remark.
She’s using coded language. When she says “normie conservative and centrist” she means discrimination against trans people. When she says “safe space” what she really means is make the world safe for TERFs to stomp on trans people. She wants to hold odious beliefs and still be thought a good person. It’s pathetically unreflective.
Oh, yeah, its 100% transparent that her concern about “canceling” was born fully formed the minute she realized she was on the “bigot” side of the dividing line, and everything since then has been about her trying to move the line, and not move herself.
Gawd, I just wish she could make her “points” in less than 4 or 5 looooong paragraphs.
That part I don’t object to because that’s the glass house I live in. 
I’ve noticed that when someone DemonTree perceives as a left-winger takes the time and effort to explain things to her in a way she gets, she is unable to thank them without throwing in jabs at the left in general. I don’t want to go back and find all the examples, but I know I’ve seen it from her at least three times.
It’s not a huge deal, but it is annoying, uncharitable, and it shows how strongly she clings to her preformed notions about people.
It’s a form of special pleading/confirmation bias - she identifies the person who helped her as a special case, so there’s no need to update her ideas of what left-wingers are like.

I have not even opened the thread called “What are some forms of information that undermine the simple ‘oppressor vs oppressed’ Western narrative” because I always see her as the last poster. And I can guess what’s happening there as well.
She’s the kind of idiot I really can’t stand: the moron who fancies herself an intellectual. She writes these turgid wads of words that sound like what a stupid person thinks a smart person sounds like, but all come down to, “I don’t like some folk, but if I use a lot of words, I’m not being a bigot.”
Banquet_Bear does amazing work challenging these kinds of idiots, patiently refuting point by point. If I wasn’t an atheist, I’d say God bless him.
Let me guess - is it the same “malignant bigot pretends that she’s the oppressed one because people keep pointing out what a malignant bigot she is” narrative we also got in the “intersectionality thread?

This is why I barely read her posts. They’re wordy, but empty. And she’s such a martyr.
She seems to be endlessly hunting for the right combination of code words that will pick the lock of the topic ban.

If you thought that Trump’s plan for fixing inflation would work better than Biden’s or Harris’s, then yes, you’re a bigot, because Trump’s only plan for fixing inflation was bigotry. In fact, bigotry is the only plan Trump has for anything.
That person might or might not be a bigot, but they’re definitely an idiot, given how bad things ended up in the first Trump reign. Now, maybe that wasn’t entirely his fault, but it definitely wasn’t to his credit.
