In any future gun-related threads where you show your face, I will make it a point_via PM_to discourage anybody from falling for your trolling. DNFTT is one of the oldest adages in the cyber world and it is just as valuable today as it was back in the usenet days.
Not that you are likely to accept it, but fwiw, I never even heard of any ‘salad tossing’ activity during my 6 yrs in one institution or another. It seems to be an activity more particular to US prisons than UK ones, unless you want to try and google up the anecdotes that prove me wrong?

See, I’m not here to banter with you. If you were someone with whom I vehemently disagreed on a given topic, but whom I believe to be a fundamentally good-hearted and honest person, then that would be possible.
Take Kalhoun for example. She and I are on opposite sides of the gun argument. Her posts, however much I may disagree with them, are honest attempts to articulate her beliefs on that topic. I don’t dislike her. Nor does my disagreement with her make her a troll, IMO.
Your posts, on the other hand, serve no higher purpose than making you the center of attention and causing strife. You are the very type specimen of a troll.

It’s fine to do it in a particular case. It’s not OK to use PM as part of a campaign against a given poster, particularly if you announce your intentions to said poster ahead of time.
