Well, he’s giving it publicity. he’s holding it up and talking about in an uncritical way (and there was a gloating tone about it which does not translate to the text). Don’t forget the point was only that Fox “has picked it up.”

It’s a good bet that this book got a once-over from the proverbial “team of lawyers” to assure that it doesn’t rise to the level of libel. But it would be an interesting gesture, anyway.

The bad way that this ends is, you sue someone for libel, you are unable to win, and that is used as evidence that the book is 100% true.

I think Obama, if asked about this, should say “I was thinking about suing him for libel but [shrug] he’s not worth the effort.” And then nothing else about Corsi, ever again.
