I care too much for my cats to ever subject them to this person, nor would I ever let anyone in the house if I thought they would do that.
It’s not so much the soprano saxophone - I can handle that. It’s his effrontery to refer to his recordings as “jazz”.

I wouldn’t want to use my pets either, but this would be an interesting experiment. When my son was in 1st grade, his teacher set up a butterfly terrarium where the kids could watch the metamorphosis from catapillar to butterfly. The kids were very enthusiastic about the project and even named all the catapillars. But one little boy…when it was his turn at the terrarium…reached in and started smashing the catapillars. All the other kids were horrified and many of them started crying. But this little boy (who had many other signs of psychiatric problems) seemed to enjoy what he had done and seemed proud that everyone else was mortified. Fast forward two years and this same kid is expelled (from a public school…in the 3rd grade) for stabbing a teacher in the thigh with a pencil. I am certain he’ll see the inside of a psychiatric ward or prison for the criminally insane by the time he reaches adulthood.
That was probably the most chilling thing about the Glenn brothers’ cat torture videos…that they were clearly enjoying the suffering of this helpless animal…they were almost orgasmic about it. Very very disturbing. True sociopaths.

I haven’t read any posts in this thread, mainly because even reading about animal abuse makes me sick to my stomach; but I just want to say that I, seriously, support the death penalty for anyone who deliberately mistreats or abuses an animal. (I’m not including hunting, though; sue me for being a hypocrite. I’m not a hunter myself, for the record). I’m not sure what Kenny Glenn has done (again, because I refuse to even read accounts of animal abuse; I feel sick for days afterward), but I would have no problem pulling the switch on someone like Michael Vick.
Mostly it sounds like he’s torturing cats…
Though I’m opposed to the death penalty (not in principle, but in practice), and also opposed to vengeance, vigilantism and lynch mobs . . . I’m almost willing to make an exception in cases like this. Those kids were old enough to know better; kids half their age are old enough to know better. I just hope they’ll now get some kind of treatment for whatever fucked them up this badly. And that goes for the parents as well. I can’t believe that kids become monsters without parental causation.

Also, these boys’ father (Mark Glenn, CEO of Glenn Oil Co., Lawton, OK) is allegedly being investigated by the EPA and the SEC for illegal dumping (which killed a bunch of wildlife) and trading arms for oil contracts to “countries hostile to the united states”.
Suffering Christ…even Jeffry Dahmer and Ted Bundy didn’t torture the family pets…they went out and found random strays to torture…but somehow torturing the family pet takes it to a whole new level of depravity…

Exactly. Kids who take such intense and perverse pleasure in torturing a helpless pet animal (sadly, a pet who probably had loved him before and might still) won’t grow up to be productive members of society. Maybe as a rescuer I am overly sensetive but I wouldn’t shed a tear or feel any displeasure if one of those wackos on 4chan did manage to get a good shot at either boy.
The video froze for me about halfway through but I could still hear the audio, which was almost more horrifying. “I TOLD YOU NOT TO TALK! DO YOU HATE ME DUSTY? DO-YOU-HATE-ME?” (Punctuated by the sound of punches and the cat wailing. Shiver.
I’ll be totally honest, if a certain house in Lawton was hit by a meteor killing all inside, I’d shout “Yes! There is a god and he’s back on form.”, then chuckle merrily.
“Overly sensitive” doesn’t come to mind when I think of ways to describe you, based on this information.
I’ve heard the “violence only begets violence” arguments plenty of times, but does anyone else agree that some people only understand the language of the fist, boot and bullet?
If it is justifiable to send an army somewhere to solve a problem, surely it’s justifiable for someone to kick the living shit out of this pair, and maybe smack the dad around a little too.
If they got a bit carried away and killed one of them, it’d be no big loss, would it?

As a matter of fact yes, yes it would. I’m not sticking up for these kids in any way, but to follow your logic we now equate the life of a cat with the life of a human in terms of value. Sorry, but any person, even those as damaged as these kids are, has a life more valuable than that of an animal. This thread is veering towards PETA territory.
