Just because are in a restroom, it does not mean that the rules of etiquette are suspended. If you are taking a dump, you should attempt to be as quiet as possible. If you are at the urinal, you need better manners. If you are at the sink, you should be shot.

I’m with the OP. I can’t stand people who shit in restrooms either. Don’t they understand etiquette?

If they have to fart in public, it should be done as quietly as possible.
