You know you can buy subs correct? What you really should look at is the views to subs ratio. In the last year he rarely breaks 50k views.
That thread coulda been a good one. A worthy one.
He wasn’t going to get votes, to win people to his side. His team has the numbers, it was done to suppress votes, to get a certain demographic to think it doesn’t really matter who they vote for.
To drive a wedge in.
Oh, here we go. I’ve been through this. So now the sub count doesn’t matter. People regularly link to Beau and all of his 800k subs are never questioned.
I link to someone and now it’s like oh well it’s just bots, you can’t go by the sub count.
Fuck off.
Because everyone participated in it even though it’s extremely obvious that he was deliberately hijacking the thread. It’s on all the people indulging him.
Except it’s clearly not a hijack, I gave a clear reason why Trump went there and responded the way he did.
You are correct. I get it now.
Still disappointing to see what could have been an interesting thread get driven into a ditch by such an obviously useless troll.
If you have 1,000,000 subs but only get, at most, 1,000 views on your videos what does that tell us about that channel?
And I’m curious why you can’t link to more than one of these channels that are totes popular with young racist, sexist, Black men if there are just soooooo many of them.
I can, but what’s the point? Anything I link to will be dismissed right? It’s all bots, right? I’ve been on YouTube since it came out, all the now popular people started out small. TYT, David Packman, Secular Talk, Beau of the Fifth column all less than 100k subs. There are new ones coming on now with less than 50k, but I don’t hear you saying that these sites are mainly bots. I link to one site and oh no it’s a bot.
You are full of shit and letting your hatred of me blind you.
It’s really not worth my time to link to this board that the internet has passed by.
I don’t think anyone is citing Beau of the 5th Column’s sub count as proof of his impact in some way or another.
Whereas you seem to be citing the sub count of your (podcaster or whatever - I didn’t check the link) as evidence of the amount of political pull or votes that they can deliver.
As you mention, this is going to be an election won largely at the margins. But 140K subs (or 50K average viewers) is a pretty small amount compared to election numbers, particularly when you consider that a lot of those subs/viewers are going to be located in places where they will make little or no difference, like New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Dallas, DC, Birmingham, Nashville, Memphis, Little Rock, Oklahoma City, Cleveland, Saint Louis, Kansas City. I don’t know what proportion of targeted voters are in those cities rather than Milwaukee, Detroit, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Charlotte and Raleigh, but that would tend to reduce the effect you are touting.
Perhaps there are other podcasts - but how many of them have overlapping subs/viewers? Hard to say.
But the reason you have a pit thread all of your own is because you seem to be pretty monomaniacal on the topic, and you don’t do a great job of explaining yourself in your posts which causes the pile-on effect.
Ohh, I don’t know. But, just like with the last round of ‘I’ve got cites but I’m not gonna post them!’ you’re not doing a fucking thing to support your argument.
That’s a you problem, not a me problem!
Great, now he has two threads to hijack.
Ok here is another Anthony Brian Logan 1 million subs, calling it a win for Trump.
He’s a tool and liar.
And you are a pathetic, limp dicked troll.
Fuck off.
Looking through your posts…Nope. Not seeing where you said he was a dumbfuck that expected one type of response, got something entirely different, threw a hissy fit and left.
What are you talking about? TFG has a mugshot and a conviction, so he’s connected to black culture now. There’s nothing racist in that that talking point, right? Right?
Trump to Black voters: You ‘embraced’ my mugshot - POLITICO
COLUMBIA, South Carolina — On the eve of the South Carolina primary, Donald Trump made a direct appeal to Black voters, not just by touting his record on issues they’ve prioritized but by comparing his own criminal indictments to the decades of legal discrimination they’ve faced.
“A lot of people said that that’s why the Black people like me because they have been hurt so badly and discriminated against, and they actually viewed me as I’m discriminated against,” Trump claimed.
He insisted that Black voters had flocked to him because of the mugshot photo from his booking in the Fulton County jail. “When I did the mug shot in Atlanta, that mug shot is No. 1,” Trump claimed. “You know who embraced it more than anyone else? The Black population.”
That couldn’t possibly have blown up in his face, and as @split_p_j assures us, black people don’t see Harris as black, so he must be having his support in the black community exploding, right? Oh wait…
Trump’s handlers pulled him off the stage a half hour early. They wouldn’t have done that if he was doing what they planned for him to do.
They did this because they love “the Blacks” and wanted to stop the beat-down that Trump was putting on them.
In case you think I’m kidding, this is the actual take from a family member.
Well yeah, but those people weren’t the ones they were trying to woo.
If a date ends horrendously because you acted like a complete ass, your friends coming over and saying “She couldn’t handle your awesomeness. And she was ugly anyway” doesn’t really change her (or her friends’) mind about you.
I feel compelled to push back on the many false statements made by the people piling on in this thread and the one about Trump at the Black journalists event. Specifically, the false belief that Trump does not have a strategy to reach out to some Black voters.
In 2020, Trump won 12% of the Black vote. That is the highest any Republican in the modern era has ever won. When he is speaking at a conference of Black journalists, he obviously is not trying to court them, or even the kind of people who will read about the event.
As with all Trump voters, Trump Black voters fall into two categories: the completely cynical elites who see something to be gained by his presidency and the (much larger group) of aggressively ignorant voters who will only hear something about Trump pissing off a bunch of nerds at a conference.
Trump beat Clinton, he almost beat Biden and he very well might beat Harris. Dismiss him at your peril. The Black voters Trump is courting weren’t in that conference room. The posters in this thread pitting the target for being uninformed are themselves woefully ignorant of the reality of Trump and his campaign.
“The 12% he won in 2020 was the highest percentage earned by a Republican candidate for president in modern times, and the campaign was aiming to get around 20% in November. Recent NBC News polling had Trump at 12% with Black voters, in a survey that was taken before President Joe Biden dropped out of the race and Harris replaced him as the presumptive Democratic nominee.”
