I pit the derisive, condenscending, anti-conspiriacy ... [merged threads]

DrFidelius is not mentally ill. DrFidelius is not necessarily agreeing with me. DrFidelius, however, seems to be open to the possibility that the Illuminati could exist. That is all I ask from any Doper.

And we’re done here.
Go show your posts in this thread to a qualified doctor who can help identify and treat your mental illness. There’s really nothing else to be said.

Except what **DrFidelius ** has to say.

At the risk of encouraging your madness and wasting more of my time: show that exchange to your doctor as well. Your mind is broken, you are reading a statement about how presidents and prime ministers aren’t isolated individuals and are instead part of the whole complex of bureaucracy and negotiations which make up individual governments. As you are profoundly sick, you then read that as some sort of endorsement of your paranoia. It’s not. It has nothing to do with supporting your mental damage. In fact, it’s a direct refutation of your insane view of global politics, pointing out that even if “The Illuminati” had world leaders in its pocket, that it still would be powerless as world leaders do not act in a vacuum and cannot act without the consent of their governments unless they’re dictators (and sometimes not even then). You’ve been doing that again and again through the thread; people will ask you questions, make comments, and so on, and your mind is so badly damaged that you’re unable to even perceive them correctly and you respond with word salad or non sequitors. Marley thought that you were perhaps being coy, but it honestly seems as if you’re just very, very sick and unable to interpret even simple sentences without trying to fit them into your paranoid delusions.

His full quote, with the parts you snipped, is:

You’re taking a refutation of your sick view of the world, coupled with an explicit statement that you’ve “constructed a fantasy” that is “absurd” and based on “faulty premise[s]” and that everybody is “laughing” and “mocking” your " ‘deep’ insights". And you think he’s supporting your claims.

You are profoundly mentally ill.
Get help.

No I don’t you fucking liar!

Yes, you do.
That’s why you continually are citing his comment and pretending that his calling you a nutter means that he’s saying that your paranoid delusion is “possible”. It’s a behavior you’ve repeatedly engaged in; when there’s a comment about something, you wildly misread it in a way that’s not even possible given what’s actually said. Like in this situation, where someone says that political leaders are still bound by their governments, and your illness causes you to read that as an endorsement of the possibility that a centuries old secret society might rule the world from the shadows. You are very, very ill. The semantic damage to your cognitive functioning seems to not only lie in interpretation but production as you frequently vomit up word salad and seem to believe that you’ve made a point. Your word salad responses aren’t even non sequitors, they’re outright nonsensical, Jabberworkian babbling that seems to please you but is obviously totally incoherent and irrelevant to virtually every single person who sees it.

That’s why you’re using weasel wording to claim that somone calling you a nutter and pointing out that your entire worldview is ignorant and absurd is not “necessarily” supporting you. That’s why you’ve tried to back away from your more vocal lunacy about how “The Illuminati” exist to trying to argue that your mental illness isn’t all that bad, since it’s not physically impossible for a giant invisible pink elephant to float above your home continually while it chats with The Illuminati. Hey, it’s possible.

I’d say that you’re actually the one who’s lying, but as you’re mentally ill, I don’t believe you can tell the difference between truth and fiction, and so it’s not voluntary on your part, just pathological. So I’ll simply, again, ask you to show this thread to a qualified medical professional. Or, I suppose, we can wait until we see you on the news having done something truly stupid. With any luck you’ll only hurt yourself and not any innocent people.

Alex Jones is not insane. He is a phony and a disgusting liar. He prays on the weak, paranoid and insane in order to make money. At least you are sincere in your craziness.

What’s with the rolleyes? All that shows is that FinnAgain and Loach aren’t in a conspiracy against you.

You are correct. DrFidelius, however, has come close to saying something that can be examined, analyzed, disputed, or disagreed with.

So has my Aunt Betty. So what? What does that have to do with your nutty beliefs?

I think this thread has reached trainwreck status. I’m going to suggest it be closed.

Kozmik, I just want to add one thing: I can’t follow much of what you write, because there are so many repetitions of things that make no sense, leaps of logic that confound me, or insistence of proof for things in newspaper articles that aren’t even all that on-topic. It can be quite frustrating to hold a conversation with you, much less engage in a debate.

However, I also find you to be a really interesting character who is probably quite a nice guy in real life, even though you almost certainly have some problems to deal with. I don’t think you’re a ticking time bomb like Finn makes you out to be. I get the impression that you’re a peaceful, kind of charming guy – but one thing I’ve learned is that if a lot of people from different viewpoints start saying something, they are probably right. I think you need help, but that doesn’t make you a bad person.

I agree with both FinnAgain and Ravenman. Kozmik, I really do think you need to discuss this with a licensed professional. I hope you get some help.

I agree with all of this.

So what? He’s not the one proposing the existence of a grand conspiracy.

I think we have finally found the “Why?” that Kozmik has resolutely refused to address through several threads and far too many pages, here.

Given his demonstrated inability to engage in rational thought, he is simply one more victim of cranks like Alex Jones.

I have no idea whether Jones actually believes any of the silliness that he promotes, (although a review of pretty much all of the media types among whom I would place him would suggest that he probably has genuine political leanings, but that he uses the nonsense to make money off similarly leaning people of limited educaton), but Kozmik has simply been sucked in by the rhetoric. Lacking the skills to examine the bullshit that Jones, (and Beck and similar twits extending out to the likes of Bob Larson*), peddle, he simply cannot wrap his mind around the obvious inconsistencies and lies in which his “mentors” engage.

  • (I would not include Limbaugh, O’Reilly, or Hannity or similar demagogues who simply rant about their favorite topics irrespective of facts; I am looking, specifically, at the predators who push CTs as a normal stock in trade.)

I agree with some of this.

Are you sure you haven’t had a stroke?

What about those who push anti-CTs as the default position?

FinnAgain and Ravenman do not agree with each other:

So how can you agree with both FinnAgain and Ravenman? You can either agree with Ravenman or you can agree with FinnAgain.

No wonder GD has gone downhilll.
