You know, the one that flips to the clickbait ads for “15 Celebrities Who Have Committed Horrible Crimes” (who IS that guy in the picture, anyway?) and I think we already know what the Empire State Building looks like.
I’d like to pit whatever is happening since the new ads that causes JavaScript errors that freeze my screen, and require me to go to my task manager and close the entire browser.

In mine, my local gas supply company wanted to reassure me that they were “green” and rather friendly. They demonstrated this with a 30-second ad that looped continuously and refused to be closed or to let my attention wander. Vexing.
TYVM for the AdBlock link. I had previously downloaded something called AdBlocker and while it worked for Facebook, it didn’t seem to work for this.
In Facebook’s case, I kept getting an ad for a diet supplement accompanied by a picture of a woman wear thong underwear that was several sizes too small.
AdBlocker is working great for me … no ads … no freezes … no trouble … it doesn’t filter the dip shits that post here, but I’m pleased with the results.
YMMV, as I don’t know what ramifications this may cause on other sites.
I use Google Chrome and disabled the “Shockwave” option in “Settings.” Often, when I try to scroll/refresh, I receive a “Trouble Loading Shockwave” error. This settings change seems to have fixed it.
