I pit the Houston Independent School District

I put thought into posts #147 and #149. Maybe you disagree with my points, but it was neither namecalling nor strawmen, and it directly addressed many of the things you said.

I do this a lot. I put thought into posts responding to your criticism of liberals, and then you totally ignore it.

I take it you have no interest in actual discussion. Maybe I should learn my lesson, and not put actual thought and effort into responding to you. You just don’t seem interested in thoughtful posts.

The namecalling is due to your refusal even to address all the points showing how wrong you are. It’s easy to dismiss them as strawmen etc., but it also makes you look like the names you’re being called.

And there’s another example of your ducking. You’ve been asked several times about renaming public facilities away from Nazi sympathizers. Well, should or shouldn’t they?

But not enough to have any actual facts about it, or you wouldn’t go on to say:

He signed the bill a partisan Reagan-worshiping Republican-controlled House and Senate passed, against said opposition. Now do please actually read up on it.

Sigh. Why don’t YOU try reading up on it?

FAA

Notice the word"all".

Of all the things to highlight in that sentence, why didn’t you highlight the “passed by Congress in 1998” bit? Is it because Congress was controlled by Republicans and the Democrats opposed the renaming?

Clumpy may well be the stupidest person on this board, despite fierce competition from his several apologists.

It’s because he puts so much effort into it. That amount of bile and foam-at-the-mouth batshit is the result of decades of hard work and nuttery. Oh no, my friend. Cranks like Clothy don’t fall off trees.

Wikipedia cited an article making it pretty clear who the movers and shakers were in the renaming:
http://www.nytimes.com/1998/02/04/us/gop-tries-to-wrap-up-an-airport-for-reagan.html

And the way he doubles down, and even plays childish font games, when he’s shown (always trivially easily) to be spouting partisan bullshit again.

Or maybe hitting their heads when they *do *is what makes them.

Sure they do: they fall off the Stupid Tree, hitting every branch on the way down.

Fuck off.

Stupid and an asshole. Nice.

You continue to engage the mockery while ignoring the thoughtful posts. I’m not optimistic, but I’m still curious to see if you have anything to say about my posts #147 and #149.

At least he’s staying within his vocabulary.

More like at most.

A man’s got to know his limitations.

My guess is “Fuck off, and fuck off,” although he may not be that creative and instead stay with the less affectatious “Fuck off.”

And deserve’s got everything to do with it.

Not really, other than to ask why the streets were named for those people in the first place. Were they named because they were Nazi sympathizers, or were they named because those folks did something else that was noteworthy?

But in the long run, it’s a meaningless question to ask. My OP was complaining about the waste of taxpayer dollars in renaming schools for no other reason than political correctness. You can try to draw parallels all you want, but that’s what it boils down to.

Boil this down, dipshit: It is not “political correctness” to refuse to honor traitors.

Oh, and fuck off.
