My understanding of the term Social Justice Warrior is that it is used by bigots to describe people who object to bigotry while not being the subject of that bigotry themselves. So if one was to object to someone being racist, but one wasn’t black, then in the racist’s eyes one would be a Social Justice Warrior.

Yes, because racists assume that everyone agrees with them, but some people have been shamed by “PC” into not saying racist things out loud. Therefore a Social Justice Warrior can’t possibly be offended by racism, they’re just signalling their virtue to make themselves look good.

What’s funny is that “soy boy,” “cuck” and the like are actually pretty pathetic insults, as their targets tend to go ‘what’ and not ‘alas good sir, you have wounded my pride’. It’s also one of those handy signs where if someone calls you a ‘cuck’ or ‘soy boy’, you can safely dismiss everything else they say because they’re in some kind of far-right imaginary realm.

I think of it very much like a 15 year old screaming epithets through his X-box headset because he thinks devoting 80 hours a week to a video game is some kind of accomplishment, rather than an indication he needs to get a job.

Terms like snowflake, SJW, neckbeard etc seem to be coined constantly to imagine some boogeyman who embodies every grievance, both real and strawman.

Instead of trying to label people and find enemies, hey, why not try to engage with them on their POV? I think you’ll find that either these positions are pure strawman – opinions not actually held by anyone – or that actually they have a point.

You need to go have a talk with another of our odd Far Right ignorant-of-history posters. His repeated claim is that everything evil in the U.S., today, is based on Boomers forcing the country to reject the ideal land of 1957 and here you are claiming that the evil is Boomer’s trying to cling to it. You are like the inversion of the people who insist that Boomers caused us to “lose” in Vietnam because they did not want to go “defend” their country. (They always fail to explain why Boomer support for the war continued as fairly high throughout that period or why over half the names of the Wall are of Boomers, but then your sort of poo-flingers rarely seem to care for (or even understand) actual history.

At any rate, the general mindset of of people who divide up the population based on birthdate, ascribing a hive-like mindset to everyone born between certain dates is just silly. (Pretty much as silly as starting a thread to condemn a group and then mindlessly misspelling their name.)
