You sure about that? Because one thing I remember from the 60s is those made of ‘sterner stuff’ getting so triggered by the idea of black kids in the same schools as white kids that they threatened to kill pre-teen children over the idea, and the national guard had to be called out. I think that until millennials and their triggers require national guard deployment to overcome, they haven’t matched the safe-spaces need of the 60s.

“I object to you using racial slurs” is a pretty far ways from “I object to you [racial slurs] in school with my kids, and I’m going to get the local PD to keep you out of my safe space until the national guard steps in to force them to stop”, after all.
