This is my main reason for starting this thread. I view grief as a private thing and I would NOT want to talk to the President or the PRESS either.
Would you be OK with receiving written condolences?
The press can hound like a, well…hound. I suspect she wasn’t at her best emotionally.
It really would NOT mean anything to ME to receive a condolence letter for anyone who did NOT personally know me or my deceased relative,
I know the details. Good grief man it’s all over the news.
I’m not watching the convention but I bet they’ve played it twice an hour on there. Especially Fox.
Uh, yeah. That was my point.
When my Daddy died I took every call, talked to anyone who’d listen, thanked people profusely if I knew them or not. Hugged anyone, cried on everyone.
People had to tell me to shut up.
But that’s me. Everyone is different.
Why am I not surprised? ![]()
Yes. Exactly. I think you actually get it now. That’s what everyone has been saying repeatedly.
That remains to be seen…but I have hope.
During his speech at the RNC Trump made mention of talking to her.
Interesting. He has said that before only to have the person deny it. Hopefully that’s not the case here.
