Screamin’ Jay always claimed he was a serious musician before recording this. However, while waiting to get into the studio, apparently, he and the band hit the bar and got destroyed and recorded the epic freaked out gonzo edition of ‘I put a spell on you.’
This still doesn’t explain ‘the constipation blues.’
